A stored code describes what a control unit detected; it does not identify a failed part by itself. Depending on the symptoms, further work may involve live data, electrical measurements or mechanical checks.

Bring any earlier reports, invoices and a description of when the fault occurs. Further testing and repair are quoted and agreed separately.
