A coolant warning, leak or rising temperature needs the cause identified before parts are chosen. Our Llandow garage can discuss cooling-system inspection and repair for everyday and enthusiast cars.

Overheating and coolant loss
A low-coolant warning, visible leak, unusual fan behaviour or temperature rise can have several causes. Continuing to drive an overheating car can damage the engine. Stop safely and contact us before arranging delivery if the car cannot be driven normally.

What may need checking
Depending on the vehicle and symptom, inspection may cover hoses, connections, radiator, expansion tank, thermostat, water pump, fans and the pressure of the system. Some cars also have additional coolers or heat exchangers. The fitted design and evidence guide the next test.
Repair and coolant choice
After identifying the fault, we discuss replacement or repair of the affected parts and the correct coolant specification. If you intend to supply a pump, radiator or hoses yourself, ask us to check compatibility before you buy; we can quote fitting separately.
What to bring
Share the registration, warning message, when the temperature rises, any recent coolant top-ups or repairs, and whether the car has modified cooling hardware. Further tests and repairs are quoted and agreed separately.
