Ask our Llandow workshop about a vehicle health check, a maintenance concern or work that may be due. Health checks are chargeable: before any chargeable work, we provide a verbal or written estimate and agree the scope with you.
What we can check
Tell us about anything you have noticed, your car's history and what you would like checked. We tailor the inspection to the vehicle and agree which checks are included before work begins. Depending on the vehicle and agreed scope, these can include:
- Tyre condition, tread and pressures
- Exterior lights, windscreen, wipers and washers
- Visible condition of brakes and brake components
- Steering and suspension components where accessible
- Fluid levels and visible signs of leaks
- Battery condition and starting or charging concerns, where appropriate
General maintenance
Ask about oil and filters, fluids, bulbs, wiper blades and other maintenance suited to the vehicle. We can also discuss a service, battery or brake concern, and maintenance for performance or modified cars.
If you would like to buy suitable parts yourself, share the registration and part numbers or supplier links before ordering so we can discuss fitment.
A health check is separate from an MOT test. If you need an MOT, we can discuss preparation and independently outsourced testing.
An estimate before chargeable work
Vehicle health checks, inspections and maintenance are chargeable. Before we carry out any chargeable check, diagnostic test, maintenance or repair, we provide a verbal or written estimate and agree the work with you. If we find anything else that needs attention, we discuss the options and provide an estimate for any further work before proceeding.
For an engine or gearbox concern, new and existing customers can also start with our free supported engine-system code scan and initial assessment during weekday walk-in hours. The free scan does not include the vehicle health check.
